South Western Railway (SWR) will operate special express trains between SMVT Bengaluru and Belagavi to clear the extra rush during Ganesh Chaturthi. The special services will make one trip each in both directions and will consist of 20 coaches.

The trains will operate as follows:

Train No. 06563 SMVT Bengaluru–Belagavi Special Express will commence its journey on 11 September 2026, while Train No. 06564 Belagavi–SMVT Bengaluru Special Express will commence its journey on 12 September 2026. Train No. 06583 SMVT Bengaluru–Belagavi Special Express will commence its journey on 13 September 2026, followed by Train No. 06584 Belagavi–SMVT Bengaluru Special Express on 14 September 2026.

The special trains will have stoppages at Chikbanavar, Tumakuru, Arsikere, Birur, Davangere, Harihar, SMM Haveri, SSS Hubballi, Dharwad, Alnawar, Londa and Khanapur, apart from their respective originating and terminating stations.
