Railway has announced an extension of services for the Hyderabad–Mangaluru Central–Hyderabad Special trains. The Hyderabad–Mangaluru Central Special, Train No. 07097, will operate on Wednesdays, with services scheduled on September 9, 16, 23 and 30; October 7, 14, 21 and 28; and November 4, 11, 18 and 25, 2026, making a total of 12 services. The return Mangaluru Central–Hyderabad Special, Train No. 07098, will operate on Thursdays on September 10, 17 and 24; October 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29; and November 5, 12, 19 and 26, 2026, also comprising 12 services.
For the Hyderabad-to-Mangaluru Central journey, the listed key stoppages are Hyderabad, Vikarabad, Raichur, Guntakal, Dharamavaram, Yelahanka, Bengaluru, Salem, Erode, Tirur, Kozhikkode, Kannur, Kasaragod and Mangaluru Central. For the return journey from Mangaluru Central to Hyderabad, the train is scheduled to stop at Mangaluru Central, Kasaragod, Kannur, Kozhikode, Tirur, Erode, Salem, Bengaluru, Yelahanka, Dharamavaram, Guntakal, Raichur, Vikarabad and Hyderabad.
The existing composition will continue, with a revision in timings, while describing the services as an opportunity to travel between Hyderabad and Mangaluru Central and explore the destinations along the route.
