Northeast Frontier Railway has announced the extension of the periodicity of Special Train Nos. 03407/03408 operating between Bhagalpur and Katihar. Train No. 03407 will run daily from Bhagalpur to Katihar, and Train No. 03408 will run daily from Katihar to Bhagalpur. The extension period is from 11.07.2026 to 28.08.2026, with 49 trips scheduled for each train during the extended period.

The extension is expected to benefit passengers by providing continued daily rail connectivity between Bhagalpur and Katihar, offering greater travel convenience and helping accommodate passenger demand during the extended operating period.
