Northern Railway has announced the extension of the periodicity of weekly special trains operating between Katihar Junction and Amritsar Junction. Train No. 05736 from Katihar Junction to Amritsar Junction, which was earlier notified up to 27.05.2026 and runs on Wednesdays, has been extended for trips on 15.07.2026, 22.07.2026, and 29.07.2026, totaling three additional trips. Train No. 05735 from Amritsar Junction to Katihar Junction, earlier notified up to 29.05.2026 and running on Fridays, has been extended for trips on 17.07.2026, 24.07.2026, and 31.07.2026, also totaling three additional trips. Northern Railway stated that all other instructions will remain unchanged.
