To clear the extra rush of passengers, East Coast Railway has notified the operation of a o­ne-way special train from Bhubaneswar to Bengaluru Cantonment.

Train No. 08401 Bhubaneswar–Bengaluru Cantonment Special will commence its journey from Bhubaneswar at 11:00 hrs o­n 25 June 2026 and arrive Bengaluru Cantonment at 15:00 hrs o­n the following day.

En route, the special train will halt at Khurda Road, Balugaon, Brahmapur, Palasa, Srikakulam Road, Vizianagaram, Duvvada, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Vijayawada, o­ngole, Nellore, Gudur, Renigunta, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Kuppam, Bangarapet, Whitefield and Krishnarajapuram stations.

The train will consist of 16 coaches, comprising 7 AC Three Tier Coaches, 7 AC Three Tier Economy Coaches and 2 Luggage-cum-Brake Vans with Generator Cars.
