East Coast Railway has announced a special “Train on Demand” service between Sambalpur and Sanganer to manage the summer travel rush. The special train, Train No. 08307 Sambalpur–Sanganer Express, will operate from Sambalpur on 29 May 2026.

The special service will run via Rengali, Jharsuguda Road, Raigarh, Bilaspur, Pendra Road, Anuppur, Shahdol, Katni Murwara, Damoh, Saugor, Mungaoli, Ashok Nagar, Guna, Baran, Sogariya, and Sawai Madhopur before reaching Sanganer.

The coach composition of the special train will include two Second Class Sleeper cum Luggage Vans, nine General coaches, six Sleeper coaches, one Second AC coach, and two Third AC coaches.

East Coast Railway stated that the special service has been introduced to provide additional travel options, reduce passenger congestion during the summer rush, and improve convenience for passengers travelling on the route.
