Western Railway’s Bhavnagar Division has announced the conversion of the existing TOD Special service between Gandhigram and Bhavnagar into a regular daily passenger train. The current special train numbers 09215/09216 will be replaced by new passenger train numbers 59231/59232.
According to the announcement, the train will operate daily with major halts at Vastrapur, Sarkhej, Bavla, Dholka, Dhandhuka, Botad, Dhola, Sihor, and Bhavnagar Para. The division stated that the new passenger service will significantly reduce fares for commuters.
Train number 59232 will become effective from 01 June 2026, while train number 59231 will start operating from 02 June 2026.
Passengers are requested to visit the Indian Railways website (www.enquiry.indianrail.gov.in), dial 139, or download the NTES app for detailed arrival and departure timings at the respective stations.
