Western Railway’s Bhavnagar Division has announced the conversion of the existing TOD Special train operating between Gandhigram and Botad into a regular daily passenger train. The current special service, train numbers 09211/09212, will be replaced by regular passenger train numbers 59237/59238.

According to the announcement, the train will run daily and major halts will include Vastrapur, Sarkhej, Moraiya, Matoda, Bavla, Dholka, Godhneshwar, Koth Gangad, Arnej, Lothal Bhurkhi, Loliya, Hadala Bhal, Dholi Bhal, Raika, Dhandhuka, Tagdi, Bhimnath, Chandarwa, Jalila Road, Sarangpur Road, and Alau.

The Bhavnagar Division stated that the conversion will significantly reduce fares for commuters. The new passenger train service will become effective from 01 June 2026.
