Kalaburagi–Bengaluru Cantonment Weekly Special Train Regularised as Permanent Service

Central Railway has announced the regularisation of the Kalaburagi–Bengaluru Cantonment Weekly Special Train as a permanent service. Under the new arrangement, Train No. 16564 Kalaburagi–Bengaluru Cantonment Weekly will operate every Sunday from May 17, 2026. The train will depart from Kalaburagi at 11:20 hrs and arrive at Bengaluru Cantonment at 23:00 hrs on the same day.

Similarly, Train No. 16563 Bengaluru Cantonment–Kalaburagi Weekly will run every Saturday starting from May 16, 2026. The train will depart from Bengaluru Cantonment at 22:00 hrs and reach Kalaburagi at 10:20 hrs the next day.

According to the railway announcement, the train will halt at Shahabad, Wadi, Yadgir, Krishna, Raichur, Manhtralayam Road, Adoni, Guntakal, Anantapur, Dharmavaram, Hindupur, and Yelahanka stations. The train will consist of 22 coaches, including 16 Sleeper Class coaches, 4 General Second Class coaches, and 2 Luggage Cum Brake Vans. Passengers have also been advised to note the change in train numbers.
