Indian Railways has announced that the Pandharpur–Tirupati weekly special train services will be operated as regular weekly trains from May 2026. Train No. 17437 Tirupati–Pandharpur Weekly Express will depart from Tirupati at 16:00 hrs every Saturday and arrive at Pandharpur at 19:00 hrs on the next day, with effect from 16.05.2026. Train No. 17438 Pandharpur–Tirupati Weekly Express will depart from Pandharpur at 20:00 hrs every Sunday and reach Tirupati at 23:30 hrs on the next day, with effect from 17.05.2026.
The trains will halt at Modlimb, Kurduvadi, Barshi Town, Dharashiv, Latur, Latur Road, Udgir, Bidar, Zahirabad, Vikarabad, Lingampalli, Begampet, Secunderabad, Kacheguda, Shadnagar, Mahbubnagar, Wanaparti Road, Gadwal, Kurnool City, Dhone, Gooty, Tadipatri, Yerraguntla, Cuddapah, Razampeta and Renigunta.
The 24-coach composition will include 1 AC II-Tier coach, 3 AC III-Tier coaches, 14 Sleeper Class coaches, 4 General Second Class coaches and 2 Guard-cum-Brake Vans. The regularisation of these weekly services is expected to strengthen rail connectivity between important pilgrimage destinations including Pandharpur and Tirupati while benefiting passengers travelling across multiple states on the route.
