RUNNING OF SPECIAL TRAINS BY SOUTH EASTERN RAILWAY

In response to the recent cancellation of IndiGo flights, South Eastern Railway (SER) has decided to run special trains to manage the surge in passenger demand. This initiative aims to ensure seamless travel and provide timely relief to affected passengers as per the following schedule:

1. 08073/08074 Santragachi-Yelahanka-Santragachi Special:

08073 Santragachi-Yelahanka Special will leave Santragachi on 07.12.2025 at 14:45 hrs and will reach Yelahanka at 00:55 hrs, the third day. In the return direction, 08074 Yelahanka-Santragachi Special will leave Yelahanka on 09.12.2025 at 04:45 hrs and will arrive Santragachi at 14:00 hrs, the next day. The Special train will have stoppages at Kharagpur and Baleshwar in SER jurisdiction.

2. 02870/02869 Howrah-CSMT Mumbai-Howrah Special:

02870 Howrah-CSMT Mumbai Special will leave Howrah on 06.12.2025 at 13:55 hrs and will reach CSMT Mumbai at 23:45 hrs, the next day. In the return direction, 02869 CSMT Mumbai-Howrah Special will leave CSMT Mumbai on 08.12.2025 at 11:05 hrs and will arrive Howrah at 20:55 hrs, the next day.

The Special train will have stoppages at Kharagpur, Tatanagar, Rourkela and Jharsuguda in SER jurisdiction.

3. 07148/07149 Cherlapalli-Shalimar-Cherlapalli Special:

07148 Cherlapalli-Shalimar Special will leave Cherlapalli on 06.12.2025 at 21:35 hrs and will reach Shalimar at 23:50 hrs, the next day. In the return direction, 07149 Shalimar-Cherlapalli Special will leave Shalimar on 08.12.2025 at 12:10 hrs and will arrive Cherlapalli at 16:00 hrs, the next day. The Special train will have stoppages at Santragachi, Kharagpur and Baleshwar in SER jurisdiction
