To cater to the extra rush of passengers during the Dasara Festival at Mysuru, South Western Railway has decided to temporarily extend Train No. 07339/07340 SSS Hubballi – KSR Bengaluru – SSS Hubballi Special up to Chamarajanagar.
- Train No. 07339 SSS Hubballi – KSR Bengaluru Special will be extended to run up to Chamarajanagar from 28th September 2025 to 4th October 2025 (07 trips).
- Train No. 07340 KSR Bengaluru – SSS Hubballi Special will originate from Chamarajanagar from 29th September 2025 to 5th October 2025 (07 trips).
There will be no change in timings between Hubballi – Yesvantpur – Hubballi.
After Bengaluru, Train No. 07339 will depart KSR Bengaluru at 07:00 a.m. and reach Chamarajanagar at 12:15 p.m.
In the return direction, Train No. 07340 will depart Chamarajanagar at 06:45 p.m. and arrive KSR Bengaluru at 11:45 p.m.
In the extended portion, both trains will have stoppages at Kengeri, Ramanagaram, Channapatna, Maddur, Mandya, Pandavapura, Mysuru, Chamarajapuram, Ashokapuram, Kadakola, Tandavapura Halt, Sujatapuram Halt, and Nanjangud Town.
The extension of this special service will provide direct connectivity between Hubballi, Bengaluru, Mysuru, and Chamarajanagar, thereby facilitating convenient travel for passengers visiting Mysuru during the Dasara festivities.
