Railways to Run 300+ Special Trains for Jagannath Rath Yatra, 100+ for Onam

Railways Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw has announced that more than 300 special trains will be operated for this year's Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra, in addition to over 800 regular train services. He said he will review the railway preparations to ensure smooth operations and hassle-free travel for devotees.

A temporary arrangement will also be made at Puri Railway Station to accommodate around 30,000 passengers. The minister further announced that the Railways will operate more than 100 special trains during this year's Onam festival. The additional train services and passenger arrangements are expected to help manage the festive rush and facilitate smoother travel for devotees.
