To clear the extra rush of passengers during the Durga Puja festival, South Coast Railway has notified for running of weekly special trains between Tirupati-Vijayapura for four trips in each direction.

Train No. 07419 Tirupati-Vijayapura Weekly Express Special will depart from Tirupati at 08:15 hrs every Sunday from 04.10.2026 to 25.10.2026 and will arrive at Vijayapura at 22:25 hrs on the same day (Sunday). In the return direction, Train No. 07420 Vijayapura-Tirupati Weekly Express Special will depart from Vijayapura at 23:35 hrs every Sunday from 04.10.2026 to 25.10.2026 and will reach Tirupati at 14:15 hrs on the next day (Monday).

En route, the train will have stoppages at Renigunta, Koduru, Razampeta, Cuddapah, Yerraguntla, Tadipatri, Gooty, Guntakal, Ballari, Toranagallu, Hosapete, Koppal, Gadag, Hole Alur, Badami, Bagalkot, Almatti and Basavana Bagewadi Road stations in both directions.

The special train will comprise 11 coaches, including 1 AC-2 Tier, 2 AC-3 Tier, 4 Sleeper Class, 2 General Second Class, and 2 Second Class Luggage cum Brake Van and Divyangjan Coaches.
