South Coast Railway, Visakhapatnam, will operate special train services between Prayagraj and Tirunelveli to facilitate passenger travel. The services will run for four trips in each direction. Train No. 04171 will operate from Prayagraj to Tirunelveli on Saturdays, with four trips scheduled from September 19, 2026, to October 10, 2026. Train No. 04172 will operate from Tirunelveli to Prayagraj on Mondays, with four trips scheduled from September 21, 2026, to October 12, 2026. The trains will operate via MLPM on the Prayagraj–Tirunelveli route. Important scheduled stoppages include Mankapur, Satna, Katni, Jabalpur, Itarsi, Nagpur, Vijayawada, Guntur, Nellore, Renigunta, Tirupati, Salem, Erode, Coimbatore and Madurai, among other stations.
