To clear the extra rush of passengers during the upcoming festive season, South Western Railway (SWR) has decided to operate TOD Express Special trains connecting KSR Bengaluru (SBC), Tirunelveli Junction (TEN), and Bengaluru Cantt (BNC). The special trains will operate one trip in each direction on September 11 and 12, 2026.

Train Schedules and Timings

1). Train No. 06527 KSR Bengaluru-Tirunelveli Express Special will operate one trip on Friday, 11.09.2026, departing KSR Bengaluru at 23:35 hrs and arriving at Tirunelveli Junction at 13:15 hrs on Saturday.

2). In the return direction, Train No. 06528 Tirunelveli-Bengaluru Cantt Express Special will operate one trip on Saturday, 12.09.2026, departing Tirunelveli Junction at 15:45 hrs and arriving at Bengaluru Cantt at 03:30 hrs on Sunday.

En-Route the trains will have Stoppages at Bengaluru Cantt, Krishnarajapuram, Bangarapet, Salem, Namakkal, Karur, Dindigul, Madurai, Virudunagar, Satur, and Kovilpatti.

Train Composition and Configuration

The train will operate with a total of 20 coaches, comprising 01 AC 2-Tier coach, 03 AC 3-Tier coaches, 10 Sleeper Class coaches, 04 General Second Class coaches, and 02 Luggage-cum-Brake Vans.
