Indian Railways, under South Central Railway, has announced special trains between Charlapalli and Kollam to accommodate the increased passenger demand during the Onam Festival. Train Nos. 07195/07196 Charlapalli–Kollam–Charlapalli Express Specials will operate on selected dates in August and September 2026. The Charlapalli–Kollam special will run on 14, 21, and 28 August, and 4 September 2026, while the Kollam–Charlapalli special will operate on 15, 22, and 29 August, and 5 September 2026. A total of four services will be operated in each direction.

The special train services have been introduced to provide additional travel options for passengers traveling during the festive season, helping reduce the rush on regular trains and ensuring smoother and more convenient travel. Passengers are advised to check the latest train running status before commencing their journey.
