South Central Railway has announced special train services between Charlapalli and Kollam to clear the rush of passengers. The additional services are intended to provide extra travel capacity and improve convenience for passengers during the notified period.

Train No. 07195, Charlapalli–Kollam Express, will operate on Fridays with four services commencing on 14.08.2026, 21.08.2026, 28.08.2026, and 04.09.2026. Train No. 07196, Kollam–Charlapalli Express, will operate on Saturdays with four services commencing on 15.08.2026, 22.08.2026, 29.08.2026, and 05.09.2026.

The Charlapalli–Kollam service will halt at Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Guntur, Tenali, Bapatla, Chirala, Ongole, Nellore, Renigunta, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Podanur, Palakkad, Thrissur, Aluva, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Changanasseri, Tiruvalla, Chengannur, Mavelikara, Kayankulam, before reaching Kollam. The return service from Kollam to Charlapalli will stop at the same stations in the reverse direction.

Passengers traveling between Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala are expected to benefit from the temporary services, which will provide additional seating capacity and help ease passenger congestion on the route.
