Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has announced the operation of special trains to facilitate passengers stranded due to water-logging in the Tinsukia Division.

According to the announcement, Train No. 07641 will operate from Lumding to Mariani from 21 July 2026 to 24 July 2026. Train No. 07642 will run from Mariani to Lumding during the same period. Train No. 07643 will also operate from Lumding to Mariani from 21 July 2026 to 24 July 2026, while Train No. 07644 will run from Mariani to Lumding from 22 July 2026 to 25 July 2026. Additionally, Train No. 05832 will operate from Rangiya to Mariani from 21 July 2026 to 24 July 2026, and Train No. 05831 will run from Mariani to Rangiya over the same dates.

The special train services have been introduced to assist stranded passengers, improve connectivity in the affected region, and ease travel disruptions caused by water-logging. Passengers are advised to check the National Train Enquiry System (NTES) for details of train stoppages and the latest service updates before travelling.

Passengers are requested to visit the Indian Railways website (www.enquiry.indianrail.gov.in), dial 139, or download the NTES app for detailed arrival and departure timings at the respective stations.
