Northern Railway Introduces New Tri-Weekly Chheharta–Varanasi Seer Govardhanpur Varanasi Express

Northern Railway has announced the introduction of a new tri-weekly train, the 14624/14623 Chheharta–Varanasi Junction–Chheharta Seer Govardhanpur Varanasi Express. Train No. 14624 will depart from Chheharta at 14:05 and arrive at Varanasi Junction at 12:15, with scheduled halts at Amritsar Junction, Jalandhar City Junction, Ludhiana Junction, Ambala Cantt. Junction, Saharanpur Junction, Moradabad Junction, Bareilly Junction, Shahjahanpur Junction, Lucknow, Sultanpur Junction, and Jaunpur City. Train No. 14623 will depart Varanasi Junction at 19:50 and reach Chheharta at 17:10, stopping at the same stations in the reverse direction. According to the announcement, regular service for Train No. 14624 will begin from 19.07.2026 on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, while Train No. 14623 will commence from 20.07.2026 on Thursdays, Saturdays, and Mondays. The train will consist of AC, Sleeper, and General Class coaches. The notice also directs passengers to RailMadad Helpline No. 139 or the Indian Railways enquiry website for detailed information regarding the route, stoppages, and timings.

The introduction of this new service is expected to provide passengers with an additional travel option between Punjab and eastern Uttar Pradesh, while improving rail connectivity along the route and offering greater convenience for regular and long-distance travelers.
