East Coast Railway has announced special train services between Malda Town and Puri to meet increased passenger demand during Rath Yatra 2026. Special train number 03403 will operate from Malda Town to Puri on 14 July 2026 (Tuesday) and 22 July 2026 (Wednesday), while train number 03404 will run from Puri to Malda Town on 17 July 2026 (Friday) and 25 July 2026 (Saturday). The schedule includes halts at New Farakka, Pakaur, Rampur Hat, Sainthia, Bolpur Shantiniketan, Barddhaman, Dankuni, Andul, Kharagpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur Keonjhar Road, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, and Khurda Road. The train composition consists of 4 Third AC coaches, 10 Sleeper coaches, 6 General coaches, and 2 Luggage-cum-Divyang Friendly coaches.

The additional services are intended to provide greater travel convenience for devotees and other passengers planning to visit Puri during the Rath Yatra period. The special trains are expected to help accommodate higher passenger demand and offer extra travel options on this busy route.
