Western Railway has announced the extension of the Ahmedabad–Patna special train service for one additional trip in each direction. According to the notification, train number 09447 operating from Ahmedabad to Patna will continue on a weekly schedule every Wednesday and has been extended up to 27 May 2026 for one trip. Train number 09448 operating from Patna to Ahmedabad will run weekly every Friday and has been extended up to 29 May 2026 for one trip. Bookings for train number 09447 are available through all PRS counters and the IRCTC website.

The extension is expected to provide improved connectivity and added travel convenience for passengers travelling between Gujarat and Bihar. The special service is likely to benefit regular travellers, migrant workers, students, and families by offering additional travel options on the busy route. The announcement was issued by the Ahmedabad Division of Western Railway.

Passengers are requested to visit the Indian Railways website (www.enquiry.indianrail.gov.in), dial 139, or download the NTES app for detailed arrival and departure timings at the respective stations.
