South Central Railway has announced the introduction of Train No. 17077/17078 Charlapalli–Tiruchchirappalli–Charlapalli Weekly Express, regularizing the existing Charlapalli–Tiruchchirappalli Weekly Special train. The Ministry of Railways has approved the new weekly express service.

Train No. 17077 from Charlapalli to Tiruchchirappalli will operate every Tuesday starting from 7 July 2026, while Train No. 17078 from Tiruchchirappalli to Charlapalli will run every Wednesday starting from 8 July 2026.

The train will halt at Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Nadikude, Sattenapalli, Guntur, Tenali, Bapatla, Chirala, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur, Renigunta, Tirupati, Chittoor, Katpadi, Vellore Cantonment, Tiruvannamalai, Thirukovilur, Villupuram, Vriddhachalam, Ariyalur and Srirangam.

The train composition will include 3 AC 2-tier coaches, 5 AC 3-tier coaches, 10 sleeper class coaches and 4 general second-class coaches.
