Due to ongoing redevelopment work at Ahmedabad railway station, the temporary withdrawal of halt for Train No. 20495/20496 at Ahmedabad station has been extended. Indian Railways’ Ahmedabad Division stated that the temporary halt at Sabarmati station for these trains will continue up to 20 August 2026.
Train No. 20495 operating between Jodhpur and Hadapsar and Train No. 20496 operating between Hadapsar and Jodhpur will continue to run daily with the revised stoppage arrangement until the specified date. Railway authorities said the arrangement is aimed at ensuring smoother station redevelopment work while maintaining uninterrupted travel convenience for passengers through Sabarmati station.
Passengers are expected to benefit from better operational management, reduced congestion during redevelopment activities, and continued rail connectivity without disruption.
