East Coast Railway has announced special “Train on Demand” services between Gomati Nagar and Khurda Road to manage the summer travel rush. Train number 05064 will operate from Gomati Nagar to Khurda Road every Thursday from 28 May 2026 to 18 June 2026, while train number 05063 will run from Khurda Road to Gomati Nagar every Saturday from 30 May 2026 to 20 June 2026.
According to the schedule, the train from Gomati Nagar will depart at 18:55 and reach Khurda Road at 02:25 on Saturday. Key stoppages include Gorakhpur, Mau, Varanasi, DD Upadhyaya Junction, Gaya, NSC Bose J Gomoh, Adra Junction, Hijli, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur Road, Naraj Marthapur, and Bhubaneswar. The return service from Khurda Road will depart at 12:45 on Saturday and arrive at Gomati Nagar at 20:00 on Sunday.
The train composition includes luggage-cum-generator cars, general coaches, sleeper coaches, AC 3-tier, AC 2-tier, and one first-class coach. Additional stoppages mentioned are Gonda, Basti, Deoria Sadar, Anugrah Narayan Road, Jaunpur, Sasaram, Dehri-on-Sone, Koderma, Bhojudih, Bankura, Vishnupur, and Midnapur.
