Eastern Railway has announced a Summer Special train service between Howrah and Rajgir. Train No. 03029 Howrah–Rajgir Special will run daily from May 16, 2026 to June 17, 2026. The train will depart from Howrah at 22:50 hrs and arrive at Rajgir at 13:00 hrs the next day. A total of 33 trips will be operated during this period.

In the return direction, Train No. 03030 Rajgir–Howrah Special will run daily from May 17, 2026 to June 18, 2026. The train will leave Rajgir at 14:00 hrs and reach Howrah at 04:30 hrs the following day. This service will also operate 33 trips.

The train will halt at Bandel, Barddhaman, Bolpur Shantiniketan, Rampurhat, Pakur, Barharwa, Sahibganj, Bhagalpur, Sultanganj, Jamalpur, and Abhaipur stations in both directions under Eastern Railway jurisdiction. The train will have General Second Class and Sleeper Class accommodations.
