EASTERN RAILWAY TO RUN TWO HOLI SPECIAL TRAINS

Eastern Railway is making special arrangements to ensure hassle-free travel during Holi and Dol Yatra, the vibrant festivals of colours best celebrated with family and friends. As many people journey to reunite with loved ones or visit popular destinations during this festive season, the railway has announced the operation of two (02) Holi Special trains in addition to its regular services. These special trains will run in various directions to manage the increased passenger demand, helping travelers reach their destinations comfortably and return home to celebrate the festivities with their families.

The Holi special trains will run between Dankuni & Anand Vihar and Sealdah & Malatipatpur providing enhanced connectivity and convenience. By operating these festival specials, Eastern Railway will generate more than 12,600 berths, ensuring greater capacity and a hassle-free travel experience during the Holi festivities.

03101 Sealdah – Malatipatpur Holi Special will leave Sealdah at 23:50 hrs. on every Friday between 27.02.2026 & 20.03.2026 (4 trips) to reach Malatipatpur at 09:35 hrs. on the next day and 03102 Malatipatpur – Sealdah Holi Special will leave Malatipatpur at 15:40 hrs. on every Saturday between 28.02.2026 & 21.03.2026 (4 trips) to reach Sealdah at 02:00 hrs. on the next day. The train will stop at Andul, Kharaghpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur K Road, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar and Khurda Road stations in both directions enroute. The train will have air-conditioned accommodation.

03009 Dankuni – Anand Vihar Terminal Holi Special will leave Dankuni at 00:20 hrs. on 28.02.2026 & 07.03.2026 (2 trips) to reach Anand Vihar Terminal at 11:00 hrs. on the next day and 03010 Anand Vihar Terminal – Dankuni Holi Special will leave Anand Vihar Terminal at 15:00 hrs. on 01.03.2026 & 08.03.2026 (2 trips) to reach Dankuni at 23:30 hrs. on the next day. The train will stop at Barddhaman, Durgapur, Asansol, Chittaranjan, Madhupur, Jasidih, Jhajha, Kiul, Sheikpura, Nawadah, Tilaya, Gaya, Anugraha N Road, Dehri on Sone, Sasaram, Bhabua Road, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Jn, Mirzapur, Prayag Raj Jn., Govindapuri, Etawah & Tundla stations in both the directions enroute. The train will have General Second Class, Sleeper class & Air-Conditioned accommodation.
