Railway Board has approved the extension of periodicity for the following weekly special trains during the forthcoming festival season. The trains will run with their existing stoppages, composition, and timings. The details are as follows:

• Train No. 06555 SMVT Bengaluru - Thiruvananthapuram North Weekly Express Special: The service, which was previously scheduled until September 26, 2025, is now extended to run from October 3, 2025, to December 26, 2025.
• Train No. 06556 Thiruvananthapuram North - SMVT Bengaluru Weekly Express Special: The service, which was previously scheduled until September 28, 2025, is now extended to run from October 5, 2025, to December 28, 2025.
• Train No. 06523 SMVT Bengaluru - Thiruvananthapuram North Weekly Express Special: The service, which was previously scheduled until September 15, 2025, is now extended to run from September 22, 2025, to December 29, 2025.
• Train No. 06524 Thiruvananthapuram North - SMVT Bengaluru Weekly Express Special: The service, which was previously scheduled until September 16, 2025, is now extended to run from September 23, 2025, to December 30, 2025.
• Train No. 06547 SMVT Bengaluru - Thiruvananthapuram North Weekly Express Special: The service, which was previously scheduled until September 3, 2025, is now extended to run from September 17, 2025, to December 24, 2025.
• Train No. 06548 Thiruvananthapuram North - SMVT Bengaluru Weekly Express Special: The service, which was previously scheduled until September 4, 2025, is now extended to run from September 18, 2025, to December 25, 2025.​
