For the convenience of passengers and to manage the extra rush expected during Independence Day and Ganesh Chaturthi, South Western Railway will operate one round trip each between Yesvantpur-Madgaon and SMVT Bengaluru-Belagavi. The details are as follows:
1. Train Nos. 06541/06542 Yesvantpur-Madgaon-Yesvantpur Express Special (1 trip):
Train No. 06541 Yesvantpur-Madgaon Express Special will depart from Yesvantpur at 11:55 p.m. on 14.08.2025 (Thursday) and arrive at Madgaon at 6:05 p.m. on 15.08.2025 (Friday). In the return direction, Train No. 06542 Madgaon-Yesvantpur Express Special will depart from Madgaon at 10:15 p.m. on 17.08.2025 (Sunday) and arrive at Yesvantpur at 4:30 p.m. on 18.08.2025 (Monday).
Stoppages: Chikbanavar, Kunigal, Channarayapatna, Hassan, Sakleshpur, Subrahmanya Road, Kabakaputtur, Bantawala, Surathkal, Udupi, Kundapura, Byndoor, Bhatkal, Murdeshwar, Honnavar, Kumta, Gokarna Road, Ankola and Karwar in both directions.
Composition: 18 coaches — 12 Sleeper Class, 4 General Second Class, and 2 SLR/D coaches.
2. Train Nos. 06571/06572 SMVT Bengaluru-Belagavi-SMVT Bengaluru Express Special (1 trip):
Train No. 06571 SMVT Bengaluru-Belagavi Express Special will leave SMVT Bengaluru at 7:00 p.m. on 22.08.2025 (Friday) and reach Belagavi at 07:30 a.m. the next day. Its pairing train, No. 06572, will depart from Belagavi at 5:30 p.m. on 23.08.2025 (Saturday) and reach SMVT Bengaluru at 05:00 a.m. the following morning.
3. Train Nos. 06573/06574 SMVT Bengaluru-Belagavi-SMVT Bengaluru Express Special (1 trip):
Train No. 06573 SMVT Bengaluru-Belagavi Express Special will depart from SMVT Bengaluru at 7:00 p.m. on 26.08.2025 (Tuesday) and arrive at Belagavi at 8:25 a.m. the next day. Similarly, Train No. 06574 Belagavi-SMVT Bengaluru Express Special will depart from Belagavi at 5:30 p.m. on 27.08.2025 (Wednesday) and arrive at SMVT Bengaluru at 5:00 a.m. the following morning.
Both sets of trains will have the same stoppages en route. The trains will stop at Chikbanavar, Tumakuru, Arsikere, Birur, Davangere, Harihar, SMM Haveri, SSS Hubballi, Dharwad, Alnavar, Londa and Khanapur before reaching Belagavi. On the return journey, the trains will stop at the same stations in reverse order.
These trains will have 19 coaches including 1-AC Two Tier, 3-AC Three Tier, 10-Sleeper Class, 3-General Second Class and 2-SLR/D.
