Indian Railways is all set to introduce a new Vande Bharat Express connecting Bengaluru and Shivamogga, promising faster, more comfortable, and premium rail travel for passengers in Karnataka. This will be the 12th Vande Bharat train for the state, further strengthening its high-speed rail network and meeting the growing demand for better connectivity.

The much-anticipated service is expected to benefit thousands of commuters, tourists, and business travelers, especially from the Shivamogga and Malnad regions, who have long awaited this direct high-speed link to the capital city. The news was shared by Bengaluru Central MP Sh. P.C. Mohan, who posted on X (formerly Twitter): “Shivamogga–Bengaluru Vande Bharat soon.”

Once operational, this train will drastically reduce travel time while offering world-class amenities including modern seating, faster acceleration, onboard Wi-Fi, and superior safety features.
