In a move aimed at enhancing travel convenience for passengers during the summer season, Northern Railway has announced the extension of the periodicity of select Weekly Summer Special trains. These extensions will cater to increased travel demand on popular routes.

Yesvantpur – Yog Nagari Rishikesh Summer Special

Train Nos. 06597/06598 Yesvantpur–Yog Nagari Rishikesh–Yesvantpur Weekly Summer Special will now run for an extended period:

• Train No. 06597 (Yesvantpur to Yog Nagari Rishikesh) will run every Thursday from 10th July to 28th August 2025, completing 8 additional trips.

• Train No. 06598 (Yog Nagari Rishikesh to Yesvantpur) will operate every Saturday from 12th July to 30th August 2025, also for 8 additional trips.

Chhapra – MCTM Udhampur Summer Special

Similarly, Train Nos. 05193/05194 Chhapra–MCTM Udhampur–Chhapra Weekly Summer Special will also see an extension:

• Train No. 05193 (Chhapra to MCTM Udhampur) will run on Mondays from 21st July to 28th July 2025, with 2 trips added.

• Train No. 05194 (MCTM Udhampur to Chhapra) will run on Wednesdays from 23rd July to 30th July 2025, completing 2 additional trips.
