East Coast Railway has notified for Weekly Special trains and Extension of services of special trains to clear extra rush of passengers during Sabarimala Season as given below:

1. Train No. 08553/08554 Srikakulam Road  – Kollam – Srikakulam Road Weekly Specials:

Train No. 08553 Srikakulam Road   – Kollam Special will leave Srikakulam Road  at 06.00 hrs o­n 01st, 08th,15th, 22nd, 29th December, 2024, 05th, 12th, 19th & 26th January, 2025 (Sundays) and reach Kollam at 14.30 hrs, the next day (9 Services)

In return direction Train No. 08554Kollam – Srikakulam Road Special will leave Kollam at 16.30 hrs o­n 02nd, 09th, 16th, 23rd, 30th December, 2024, 06th, 13th, 20th & 27th January, 2025  (Mondays) and reach Srikakulam Road at 02.30 hrs, the third day (9 Services)

Coach Composition:  1- AC Two Tier Coach, 6- AC Three Tier Economy Coaches, 8- Sleeper Class Coaches, 4- General Second Class Coaches, 1- Second Class Coach (Divyangjan Friendly) and 1- Luggage cum Brake Van

Train No.08539 Visakhapatnam  – Kollam Special will leave Visakhapatnam at 08.20 hrs o­n 04th, 11th,18th, 25th December, 2024, 01st, 08th,15th, 22nd,29th January, 05th, 12th,19th & 26th, February, 2025 (Wednesdays) and reach Kollam at 12.55 hrs, the next day (13 Services)

In return direction Train No. 08540 Kollam – Visakhapatnam Special will leave Kolla at 19.35 hrs o­n 05th, 12th,19th, 26th, December, 2024, 02nd, 09th,16th, 23rd, 30th January, 06th, 13th, 20th & 27th February, 2025  (Thursdays) and reach Visakhapatnam at 23 .20 hrs, the next day (13 Services)
