Shri Ashok Kumar Verma, General Manager of Northern Railway, recently conducted an inspection of Phaphamau and Prayag Junctions to assess the progress of preparations for Mahakumbh 2025. At Phaphamau, he reviewed the construction of the station building, Foot Over Bridges (FOBs), improved passenger facilities, and the development of organized entry and exit routes.

At Prayag Junction, Shri Verma inspected the progress of key projects, including the station building, integrated command center, healthcare units, and passenger holding areas. He emphasized the importance of completing all infrastructure developments well in advance to accommodate the large influx of pilgrims. The focus is on ensuring smooth, safe, and comfortable travel experiences for millions of visitors during Mahakumbh, with all necessary amenities in place for efficient crowd management.
