South Western Railway will operate Train Nos. 06561/06562 Yesvantpur-Vijayapura-Yesvantpur Express Special to clear the extra rush of passengers on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi.

Train No. 06561 Yesvantpur-Vijayapura Express Special will run on 11.09.2026 and 13.09.2026 (Friday and Sunday), while Train No. 06562 Vijayapura-Yesvantpur Express Special will run on 12.09.2026 and 14.09.2026 (Saturday and Monday).

Train No. 06561 Yesvantpur-Vijayapura Express Special will depart from Yesvantpur at 18:15 hrs and arrive at Vijayapura at 05:15 hrs the next day. The train will have stoppages at Tumakuru (19:05/19:07 hrs), Arsikere (20:10/20:20 hrs), Davangere (22:18/22:20 hrs), SMM Haveri (23:23/23:25 hrs), Badami (02:34/02:35 hrs), Bagalkot (03:08/03:10 hrs), Almatti (03:54/03:55 hrs), and Basavan Bagewadi Road (04:15/04:16 hrs).

In the return direction, Train No. 06562 Vijayapura-Yesvantpur Express Special will depart from Vijayapura at 17:00 hrs and arrive at Yesvantpur at 04:45 hrs the next day. The train will halt at Basavan Bagewadi Road (17:24/17:25 hrs), Almatti (17:44/17:45 hrs), Bagalkot (18:23/18:25 hrs), Badami (18:54/18:55 hrs), SMM Haveri (21:33/21:35 hrs), Davangere (22:33/22:35 hrs), Arsikere (00:35/00:45 hrs), and Tumakuru (01:50/01:52 hrs).

The special trains will have a total of 20 coaches, including 01 AC 2-Tier, 03 AC 3-Tier, 09 Sleeper Class, 05 General Second Class, and 02 Second Class Luggage cum Guard Brake Van and Divyangjan Coach, coaches.
