Eastern Railway has announced the Jaynagar–Asansol–Jaynagar Shravani Mela Special train. Train No. 05597 will run from Jaynagar to Asansol every Friday, Sunday and Tuesday between 31.07.2026 and 30.08.2026 for 14 trips. Train No. 05598 will operate from Asansol to Jaynagar every Saturday, Monday and Wednesday between 01.08.2026 and 31.08.2026 for 14 trips. The special train will halt at Chittaranjan, Madhupur, Jasidih and Simultala stations under Eastern Railway jurisdiction in both directions. The train will include General Second Class and Sleeper Class accommodations, and bookings will be available through PRS and the internet. For detailed halt timings, passengers are directed to the railway enquiry website or the NTES app, while bookings can be made through the IRCTC website or computerized reservation centres.
