East Coast Railway has announced the extension of special train services between Bhubaneswar and Yeshvantpur in response to popular demand and to enhance passenger convenience. Train No. 02811 (Bhubaneswar–Yeshvantpur) will continue operating on Saturdays, with the extension period running from 4 July 2026 to 29 August 2026. Train No. 02812 (Yeshvantpur–Bhubaneswar) will continue operating on Mondays, with services extended from 6 July 2026 to 31 August 2026. The notification states that the extension follows earlier notifications issued up to 27 June 2026 for Train No. 02811 and up to 29 June 2026 for Train No. 02812.
The extended services are expected to provide continued travel options for passengers commuting between Odisha and Karnataka, helping accommodate travel demand on this route. The move is aimed at improving connectivity and offering greater convenience to travelers during the extended operational period.
