Vande Bharat Express to Get Experimental Stop at Shahjahanpur Junction

Northern Railway has announced an experimental stoppage for the Vande Bharat Express at Shahjahanpur Junction station. The facility will be available for both the Lucknow Junction–Dehradun and Dehradun–Lucknow Junction Vande Bharat Express services. The experimental stoppage will be effective from the originating station beginning June 3, 2026. Passengers can contact RailMadad Helpline No. 139 or visit the railway enquiry website for detailed information regarding routes, stoppages, and train operations.

The addition of a stoppage at Shahjahanpur Junction is expected to improve travel convenience for passengers from the region by providing direct access to the Vande Bharat service on this route. The halt could offer a faster and more comfortable travel option for commuters, business travelers, and tourists traveling between Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

Passengers are requested to visit the Indian Railways website (www.enquiry.indianrail.gov.in), dial 139, or download the NTES app for detailed arrival and departure timings at the respective stations.
