The Ministry of Railways has approved the introduction of Train No. 17079/17080 Hyderabad–Jaipur–Hyderabad Weekly Express by regularizing the existing special service operating between the two cities. Train No. 17079 Hyderabad–Jaipur Weekly Express will run every Friday starting from 24 July 2026, while Train No. 17080 Jaipur–Hyderabad Weekly Express will operate every Sunday from 26 July 2026.
The weekly express will have stoppages at Secunderabad, Kamareddi, Nizamabad, Mudkhed, Nanded, Purna Junction, Basmat, Hingoli Deccan, Washim, Akola Junction, Malkapur, Khandwa Junction, Itarsi Junction, Bhopal Junction, Ujjain Junction, Ratlam Junction, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Chittaurgarh Junction, Bhilwara, Bijainagar, Ajmer Junction, Kishangarh and Phulera between Hyderabad and Jaipur.
The train composition will include 2 AC 2-tier coaches, 7 AC 3-tier coaches, 7 sleeper class coaches and 4 general second class coaches. The introduction of the regular weekly express service is expected to improve rail connectivity between Telangana, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, while also benefiting passengers travelling for business, tourism, education and religious purposes. The service is also likely to provide a convenient travel option for students, migrant workers and families travelling between the two regions.
