Southern Railway Extends Periodicity of Special Trains Till June 2026

South Western Railway has announced the extension of periodicity for several special trains operating under the “Trains on Demand” category with existing timings, stoppages, and composition. The extended services include Train No. 07355 Hubballi–Rameswaram running on Sundays from 7 June 2026 to 28 June 2026 and Train No. 07356 Rameswaram–Hubballi running on Mondays from 8 June 2026 to 29 June 2026, with four trips each.

The notification also includes the extension of Train No. 07313 Hubballi–Kollam Express Special from 31 May 2026 to 21 June 2026 on Sundays, except on 7 June 2026, and Train No. 07314 Kollam–Hubballi Express Special from 1 June 2026 to 22 June 2026 on Mondays, except on 8 June 2026, with three trips each.

Additional extensions have been announced for SMVT Bengaluru–Thiruvananthapuram North Express Special services. Train No. 06523 will operate on Mondays from 1 June 2026 to 22 June 2026, Train No. 06524 on Tuesdays from 2 June 2026 to 23 June 2026, Train No. 06547 on Wednesdays from 3 June 2026 to 24 June 2026, and Train No. 06548 on Thursdays from 4 June 2026 to 25 June 2026. Each of these services will run four trips.

Train No. 06555 SMVT Bengaluru–Thiruvananthapuram North Express Special will operate on Fridays from 19 June 2026 to 26 June 2026 except on 5 June and 12 June 2026, while Train No. 06556 Thiruvananthapuram North–SMVT Bengaluru Express Special will run on Sundays from 21 June 2026 to 28 June 2026 except on 7 June and 14 June 2026. Both services will operate two trips each.

The railway administration stated that all these special trains will continue to run with existing timings, stoppages, and composition.
