South Central Railway has announced the operation of weekly summer special trains between Secunderabad and Naharlagun to clear extra passenger rush during the summer season. Train No. 07046 will run from Secunderabad to Naharlagun every Friday, departing at 08:30 and arriving at 16:00 on Sunday, with services scheduled from 29 May 2026 to 26 June 2026. Train No. 07047 will run from Naharlagun to Secunderabad every Monday, departing at 13:00 and arriving at 22:00 on Wednesday, with services scheduled from 1 June 2026 to 29 June 2026.

The special trains will stop at Charlapalli, Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Nadikude, Sattenapalli, Guntur, Vijayawada, Eluru, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Elamanchili, Anakapalle, Duvvada, Kottavalasa, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam Road, Palasa, Brahmapur, Balugaon, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Naraj Marthapur, Jajpur K Road, Bhadrak, Balasore, Kharagpur, Andul, Dankuni, Bardhaman, Bolpur Shantiniketan, Rampur Hat, Malda Road, Kishanganj, Aluabari Road, New Jalpaiguri, New Cooch Behar, Kokrajhar, New Bongaigaon, Barpeta Road, Rangiya, Udalguri, Rangapara North and Harmuti stations in both directions. South Central Railway stated that all these special trains will consist entirely of 3AC coaches.
