Indian Railways has announced the extension of special train services between Podanur and Dr MGR Chennai Central with existing timings, stoppages and composition.

Train No. 06028, Podanur–Dr MGR Chennai Central Triweekly Express Special, will depart from Podanur at 07:40 hrs and reach Dr MGR Chennai Central at 16:45 hrs on the same day. The train will operate on 20th, 21st, 23rd, 28th, 29th and 30th May, and 03rd, 04th and 05th June 2026, covering a total of nine services.

Train No. 06027, Dr MGR Chennai Central–Podanur Triweekly Express Special, will depart from Dr MGR Chennai Central at 17:45 hrs and arrive at Podanur at 03:00 hrs the next day. The train will run on 20th, 21st, 23rd, 28th, 29th and 30th May, and 03rd, 04th and 05th June 2026, operating nine services in total.

According to the announcement, advance reservation for these special trains has been opened.
