In view of the Christmas festival and to clear extra passenger rush, one trip of a special train will be operated between SMVT Bengaluru and Kollam.

Train No. 06573/06574 SMVT Bengaluru – Kollam – SMVT Bengaluru Express Special (One Trip):

• Train No. 06573 will leave SMVT Bengaluru at 3:00 p.m. on 25th December 2025 and reach Kollam at 6:30 a.m. on the following day.
• On the return journey, Train No. 06574 will depart Kollam at 10:30 a.m. on 26th December 2025 and arrive at SMVT Bengaluru at 03:30 a.m. on the following day.

En route, the train will stop at Krishnarajapuram, Bangarapet, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Podanur, Palakkad, Thrissur, Aluva, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Changanasseri, Tiruvalla, Chengannur, Mavelikara, and Kayankulam stations.

The train will have 22 coaches comprising Sleeper Class Coaches (20) and SLR/D Coaches (02).
