Special Trains for Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba's Centenary Celebrations at Puttaparthi

East Coast Railway has notified the operation of special express trains between Araku–Yelahanka, Bhubaneswar–Bengaluru Cantonment, Srikakulam Road–Bengaluru Cantonment, Sambalpur–Bengaluru Cantonment, and Cuttack–Bengaluru Cantonment to clear the extra rush of passengers on the occasion of the Centenary Year of Sri Sathya Sai Baba. The details are as follows:

1. Train No. 08551/08552 Araku–Yelahanka–Araku Express Special (2 trips):

Train No. 08551 Araku–Yelahanka Express Special will depart from Araku at 12:00 noon on November 13 & 23, 2025 and arrive at Yelahanka at 10:15 am the following day. In the return direction, Train No. 08552 Yelahanka–Araku Express Special will leave Yelahanka at 01:30 pm on November 14 & 24, 2025 and reach Araku at 02:30 pm the next day.

2. Train No. 08555/08556 Araku–Yelahanka–Araku Express Special (2 trips)

Train No. 08555 Araku–Yelahanka Express Special will depart Araku at 12:00 pm on November 17 & 24, 2025 and arrive at Yelahanka at 10:15 am the following day. In the return direction, Train No. 08556 Yelahanka–Araku Express Special will leave Yelahanka at 02:00 pm on November 18 & 25, 2025 and reach Araku at 02:30 pm the next day.

En route, these trains (08551/08552 and 08555/08556) will stop at Borraguhalu, Shrungavarapukota, Kottavalasa, Duvvada, Anakapalle, Tuni, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Vijayawada, Guntur, Nandyal, Gooty, Dharmavaram, and Sri Sathya Sai Prasanthi Nilayam stations.

Each train (08551/08552 and 08555/08556) will consist of 15 coaches, including 9 Sleeper Class, 4 General Second Class, and 2 SLRD coaches.

3. Train No. 08463/08464 Bhubaneswar–Bengaluru Cantt.–Bhubaneswar Express Special (1 trip):

Train No. 08463 Bhubaneswar–Bengaluru Cantt. Express Special will depart from Bhubaneswar at 06:15 am on November 16, 2025 and arrive Bengaluru Cantt. at 11:15 am the following day. In the return direction, Train No. 08464 Bengaluru Cantt.–Bhubaneswar Express Special will leave Bengaluru Cantt. at 05:30 am on November 20, 2025 and reach Bhubaneswar at 10:15 am the next day.

En route, this train will halt at Khurda Road, Balugaon, Chatrapur, Brahmapur, Ichchapuram, Sompeta, Palasa, Naupada, Srikakulam Road, Chipurupalli, Vizianagaram, Kottavalasa, Duvvada, Rajahmundry, Vijayawada, Nandyal, Gooty, Dharmavaram, and Sri Sathya Sai Prasanthi Nilayam stations.

The train will consist of 20 coaches, including 1 AC 2-tier, 3 AC 3-tier, 8 Sleeper Class, 6 General Second Class, and 2 SLRD coaches.
