For the convenience of passengers and to clear the extra rush on the eve of the Velankanni festival 2025, a special train will run between Bandra Terminus and Velankanni.

According to a press release issued by Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, the details of the train are as under:

Train No. 09093/09094 Bandra Terminus - Velankanni Special [4 TRIPS]

Train No. 09093 Bandra Terminus - Velankanni Special will depart from Bandra Terminus on Wednesday, 27 August 2025 and Saturday, 06 September 2025 at 20:40 hrs and will reach Velankanni at 07:40 hrs, on Friday and Monday respectively.

Similarly, Train No. 09094 Velankanni - Bandra Terminus Special will depart from Velankanni on Saturday, 30 August 2025 and Tuesday, 09 September 2025 at 00:30 hrs and will arrive at Bandra Terminus at 10:30 hrs, the next day.

En route, this train will halt at Borivali, Vasai Road, Panvel, Lonavla, Pune, Daund, Solapur, Kalaburagi, Wadi, Yadgir, Krishna, Raichur, Manthralayam Road, Adoni, Guntakal, Gooty, Tadipatri, Yerraguntla, Cuddapah, Razampeta, Renigunta, Katpadi, Vellore Cantt., Tiruvannamalai, Mayiladuturai, and Nagappattinam stations in both directions.

This train comprises AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class, and General Second Class coaches.

The booking for Train No. 09093 will open from 3 August 2025 at all PRS counters and on the IRCTC website. The above train will run as a special train on special fare. For detailed information regarding timings of halts and composition, passengers may please visit www.enquiry.indianrail.gov.in.
