Sh. Pankaj Tyagi has taken over as the new Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) of the Bhopal Division, West Central Railway, vice Sh. Devashish Tripathi. Prior to this appointment, he was serving as the Executive Director (Land & Permission) at the Railway Board, New Delhi.

Holding a degree in Civil Engineering, Tyagi brings with him extensive experience in both domestic and international technical training. Throughout his career, he has contributed significantly to Indian Railways. His key contributions include the simplification of the land policy, publication of its master circular, and playing a major role in the planning and execution of India’s first RRTS corridor between Delhi and Meerut.

In his previous role as Director at the Railway Board, he also led the effort to resolve long-pending track renewal projects through the establishment of the Railway Suraksha Kosh (RRSK).
