Reinforcing Indian Railways’ commitment to safety and employee well-being, Shri Lalit Bohra, Divisional Railway Manager of Waltair Division, carried out a surprise night inspection at Visakhapatnam Railway Station and nearby facilities during the midnight hours of August 3, 2025.

The inspection covered several crucial locations, including Sleeping Pods, Heritage Retiring Rooms, TTE Rest Houses, and Booking Offices. The primary objective was to assess the quality and availability of staff amenities, ensure adherence to safety standards, address any staff grievances or shortcomings, and promote a sense of discipline and accountability across the facilities.
