Shri Madhukar Roat, a senior officer of the 1997 batch of the Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS), has taken over as the Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) of the Palakkad Division, succeeding Shri Arun Kumar Chaturvedi, IRSE.

Before his current assignment, Mr. Roat was serving as the Chief Freight Traffic Manager (CFTM) in North Western Railway, Jaipur. Over the course of his career, he has held several key positions across Indian Railways, including assignments in the Northeast Frontier Railway, Western Railway, and as Chief General Manager on deputation with CONCOR in Ahmedabad.
