Minister of State for Railways, Shri V. Somanna, conducted an inspection of Guwahati Railway Station, a crucial junction in India’s railway network. During the inspection, Shri Somanna praised the station’s commitment to cleanliness and inclusivity. He particularly noted the installation of Braille signage and sign language guidance, which have significantly improved accessibility for visually and hearing-impaired passengers. The redevelopment project is expected to transform the station into a more efficient and passenger-friendly hub, reinforcing Indian Railways' commitment to modernization and enhanced travel convenience.
