Shri Vivek Kumar, a 1994-batch Indian Railway Service of Signal Engineers (IRSSE) officer, has assumed charge of the newly established Jammu Division. Prior to this, he served as Executive Director, S&T, at the Railway Board.

With nearly three decades of experience, he has significantly contributed to key railway projects, including those in West Central Railway, Kota Division, RDSO, RVNL, the Rishikesh-Karanprayag Hill Railway Project, and various initiatives in Jammu & Kashmir. His leadership is expected to enhance operational efficiency and infrastructure development in the region.
