South Central Railway has notified for special trains and Extension of services of special to clear extra rush of passengers during Sabarimala Festival as given below:
1. Train No. 07147/07148 Machilipatnam – Kollam – Machilipatnam Specials:
Train No. 07147 Machilipatnam – Kollam Special will leave Machilipatnam at 12.00 hrs on 23rd & 30th December, 2024 (Monday) and reach Kollam at 21.20 hrs, the next day (2 Services)
In return direction Train No. 07148 Kollam – Machilipatnam Special will leave Kollam at 02.30 hrs on 25th December, 2024 & 01st January, 2025 (Wednesday) and reach Machilipatnam at 12.00 hrs, the next day (2 Services)
Coach Composition: 1- AC First Class cum AC Two Tier Coach, 2- AC Two Tier Coaches, 3- AC Three Tier Coaches, 12- Sleeper Class Coaches, 2- General Second Class Coaches, 1- Second Class Coach (Divyangjan Friendly) and 1- Luggage cum Brake Van
